I'm Kaylin Ross, a wedding and portrait photographer based in Abbeville, Alabama, and I serve couples all across Alabama, Georgia, and North Florida. Huntsville and the surrounding North Alabama area is absolutely on my radar -- and honestly, it's been on my radar for a while, because the venues up there are stunning.

Stone Haven Event Venue | Section, AL
Stone Haven might be the most beautiful wedding venue in Alabama. I'll just say it.
It's a European-inspired luxury venue perched above the Tennessee River, about an hour east of Huntsville. We're talking a glass conservatory, an outdoor ceremony patio with river views, a grand reception hall, a Victorian bridal suite, and a separate groom's house on the property. It photographs like something out of a destination wedding in Italy, except it's right here in Alabama.
I have been dying to shoot a wedding at Stone Haven. The light coming through that glass atrium, golden hour over the Tennessee River, the architectural details as a photographer, this venue is a dream. Burritt on the Mountain | Huntsville, AL
Burritt on the Mountain sits on a bluff overlooking the city of Huntsville with sweeping views and a historic, rustic charm that photographs beautifully. The outdoor ceremony spaces with the Tennessee Valley stretching out behind you make for incredible portraits, and the golden hour light up there is something else.
